Rich Pinder is the Program Manager for the California Teachers Study, and has been part of the Department of Preventive Medicine since 1982. Reflecting on his years at USC, Rich says "I was offered a 2 month temporary position and I've been here ever since!" Experience in subject recruitment locating began his work with follow up, and his technology skills led to database, record linkage, and application development expertise. Starting college in La Jolla at UCSD in the early 70's, then entering a prolonged hiatus farming in the midwest, Rich finished up at USC with a BA in Interactive Instructional Video. An avid mountain biker and trail builder with the CORBA, he also enjoys road cycling and collecting 'vintage' lightweight bikes.
